My dream job

The truth is that before starting to write on this blog, I had rarely asked myself what my ideal job would be, I am currently studying journalism, so since first of all my priority is to work in anything related to journalism and communications. In addition to the fact that in this field there are quite a few areas that call my attention I to which I would like to dedicate myself, but I have not yet fully decided.



Even so, one of the areas that catches my attention is sports journalism, because I really like sports. In this sense, my ideal job would be to work as a soccer match commentator, to be able to convey the emotion of that sport to the people who watch it, with the aim of making the broadcast much more entertaining and friendly, explaining the technical concepts in a that the people who are watching the game understand them. In addition to the fact that I have a great time talking about football and what better way to get paid for it. About the salary, hopefully it will be one that allows me to cover my expenses and live relatively quietly.

In that sense, I would like to be commenting on matches from big tournaments such as the World Cup, the Champions League Cup, the Copa Libertadores, the Copa América, the English Premier League or the Chilean League; because they are tournaments that capture a lot of my attention, so I follow them constantly on television and the other news media that are in charge of covering those leagues. To achieve that I must have skills such as good expression and great knowledge on the subject

Things I will do after quarantine

Why did you choose to study this degree?

Hello everyone, this time I will talk about my career and why I decided to study journalism. Since I was little I was always struck by the area of communications, from the animators of entertainment programs on TV, through sports programs to investigative journalism. However, I never considered it a real option until before entering the 12th grade, which was when I rethought several things in my life,among which was what to study. In the end I decided on journalism because it seemed to me a very interesting career that would give me tools to "blow up" my imagination and my capacity for innovation.
